By day, I am a tech industry security leader, protecting elections integrity at Meta (formerly known as Facebook). By night, I moonlight as a watercolor artist passionate about the beauty in nature. Working as a Manager at Meta is intense and I paint to relax after a long day or week! I am an emerging watercolor artist, and have always had a passion for painting in oils and acrylics since childhood. I have been painting for over 30 years and have a Studio Art minor, but over the last year, I expanded into watercolors for the first time as a medium and absolutely fell in love! I started my small business CDWatercolorStudio in 2023 with a growing social media presence, and have since sold my artwork on Etsy as well as at local art shows in California. My artistic style is bold and bright colors which are cheerful, uplifting, and whimsical. When I’m not protecting elections or painting, I also enjoy being a newlywed, cooking, am a proud and obsessed dog mom, world traveler and creative entrepreneur!

I paint all of my pieces with high-quality Winsor & Newton watercolor paint on 300 GSM 140 lb cold-pressed block paper. I sell originals and high-quality Giclee archival quality art prints on my Etsy shop and at art shows, and also am dabbling into surface pattern design with an expanding library! I am open and happy to engage in commissions and custom artwork. I am excited to share my collection with all of you and hope you enjoy it!
